Church Killings In Ozubulu :Court Adjourns Case To 16th of March

Church Killings In Ozubulu Last Year At St Phillips Catholic Church Case has been  Adjourns  To 16th of March

                       OZUBULU CHURCH SHOOTING VICTIMS

Nnewi High court presided over by Justice Festus Aniukwu has adjourned hearing on the trial of the four persons alleged to be connected with the August 6th killings at St Phillips Catholic Church,

Ofufe Amakwa Ozubulu, to the sixteenth of this month.

 

The adjournment became necessary when both the Prosecution and Defense counsel, Jay-jay Ezeuko and Festus Keyamo failed to show up in court.

The prosecution counsel had sent in a letter, praying the court to adjourn the matter as the Prosecuting Counsel,Ezeuko, was said to be sick.

Meanwhile, some youths of Egbema village of the community today mobilised to the court, protesting the detention of one of the suspects, appealing to both the state and federal government to intervene in the matter as some of the suspects are accused wrongly
